EEG

We haven't gotten the results yet, but the test went well. She didn't have much trouble staying up late once we got past 8:30. Getting up in the morning was a little bumpy, but after about 10 minutes of trying to wake her, she finally "came to." We got to CHKD by 7:30 and were back in the room by 8. Unfortunately because of her age, they have to strap the kids down to the bed, minus the hands. The hands get restrained if they fight the test or pull at the wires on their heads. Charis cried, but she didn't fight and didn't have to have her hands restrained. Usually only one parent is allowed to stay but both of us were allowed in there since it helped keep her calm. Those of you that know Charis know she is not keen on strangers, much less a stranger that straps her down, draws on her head, scrubs her head, and wraps her head up with wires. Especially with 6 hours of sleep (compared to her normal 11.5). :) She stopped crying while we read to her and when she finally fell asleep, the test took about 10 minutes.
She was pretty fried by that afternoon. She is still trying to catch up on her sleep!
We should know something by Monday.
Thanks for praying!

  1. I am so glad that we know the Healer of all Healers. May His hands wrap Charis's body tight!!
